Château Brillette 2015 – Moulis-en-Médoc – Cru Bourgeois

The nose is aromatic, racy, relatively powerful and offers a slight intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and slight notes of strawberry, cherry associated with hints of minerality as well as a hint of Timut pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers a nice mineral frame (racy minerality), fat, a slight acidity, suavity, a good definition, a nice grain as well as elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, redcurrant, blackberry and hints of crushed strawberry combined with slight touches of violet, discreet hint of pepper Timut, spices as well as very discreet touches of mocha and toasted touches (in the background). Tannins are well-built and currently a bit young. Good length and good persistence. A good wine! (2019+)
