Château Bouscaut 2019 – Pessac-Léognan Grand Cru Classé de Graves 

The nose is elegant, powerful and offers concentration as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, ripe wild cassis, small notes of small berries associated with touches of racy minerality, incense, violet as well as fine hints of ripe garriguette strawberry, liquorice/zan and discreet hints of sweet spices/chocolate. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, precise and offers density/power, an acidulous frame, tension and delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild blackberry, wild cassis, small notes of ripe/juicy black plum associated with touches of raspberry, small crushed red berries, violet as well as a subtle hint of rose, cardamom, cocoa and spices. Tannins are well-built and structuring.
