The nose is elegant and offers freshness, a certain intensity, a fine grain and complexity. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, small wild fruits, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of lily, pink laurel flowers, dry local copse as well as a fine hint of violet and cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension as well as precision, a certain gourmandize and a fine suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of small acidulous/bright red berries associated with touches of small wild fruits, sense of the place/dry local copse, violet as well as a discreet hint of grey pepper. Good length. Tannins are structuring. Acidulous side on the finish/persistence.
