The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension as well as precision, a certain gourmandize and a fine suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of small acidulous/bright red berries associated with touches of small wild fruits, sense of the place/dry local copse, violet as well as a discreet hint of grey pepper. Good length. Tannins are structuring. Acidulous side on the finish/persistence.
