The nose is elegant and offers power, a certain finesse, complexity as well as a certain power. It reveals notes of ripe raspberry, ripe blackberry and small notes of juicy cassis associated with small touches of Sichuan pepper, violet, tea as well as very fine hints of spices/exotic spices, mushroom and discreet hints of caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful juicy/acidulous frame, tension, fullness, silky, finesse, a certain richness, gourmandize, freshness, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as complexity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, juicy/acidulous raspberry and small notes of small red berries associated with fine hints of mild tobacco and underwood/mushroom. Good persistence.
