Château Bellevue 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

Château Bellevue 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, elegant, very slightly tight and offers a beautiful density, a fine richness as well as a beautiful definition. It reveals notes of blackberry and blueberry/blue fruits associated with small notes of cassis, liquorice as well as subtle hints of caramelization, vanilla and toasted. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a food definition, unctuosity, gourmandize, fullness, complexity, a very beautiful finesse, a bit aerial as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, crushed redcurrant, juicy blackberry and more slightly juicy blue fruits/blueberry, fresh raspberry associated with fine touches of flowers, racy minerality, liquorice, dark chocolate/powdered cocoa, toasted almond, toasty/caramelized oaky, vanilla as well as an imperceptible hint of cardamom (in the background). Good length. The finish is slightly powdered. Beautiful and gourmande persistence.
