The nose is relatively powerful offers a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of ripe strawberry, caramelization, cassis, blackberry, strawberry, woody notes associated with touches of red berries as well as a very discreet hint of cassis bud, a slight touch of chocolate and a hint of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a slight freshness, suavity, a racy minerality as well as a slight acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, juicy blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with hints of toasted oak as well as a slight notes of chocolate and a discreet hint of licorice. Tannins are fine and slightly chewy. Good length.
