Champagne Pierre Legras – Blanc de Noirs, Black Jackets 2014 – Brut

(Bottle n ° 249/2250. Disgorgement: 11/2018) The nose is fruity and offers precision as well as a very fine power. There are notes of quince, nectarine and small notes of pear associated with small touches of lemon, citron as well as a very discreet hint of raspberry leaf, flowers, very discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of hay. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, precise, full of control and offers elegance as well as a fine tension. The effervescence is fine, precise and well-built. In the mouth this Champagne expresses notes of lemon, quince and small notes of crunchy nectarine associated with touches of crunchy green apple as well as discreet hints of sweet spices, egg cream and a subtle hint almost biscuit (in the background). Good length.
