Champagne Perrier-Jouët – Blanc de Blancs – Brut

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a small minerality/freshness, a small incisive side as well as a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe citrus and white flowers (lemon tree, orange tree, apple tree) associated with fine touches of ripe green apple, fresh pear as well as fine/discreet hints of chalk. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, elegant and offers a good definition, juiciness, finesse, roundness, a fine acidulous frame, a beautiful juicy/beautifully fresh fruit as well as a small sliced/incisive side. The effervescence is very fine and elegant. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of fresh citrus and fresh flowers (lemon tree, apple tree) associated with touches of fresh/ripe apple, pear as well as discreet hints of zests and an imperceptible hint of flowers. Good length and persistence. There are hints of flowers, citrus and an imperceptible hint of almond on the persistence. A beautiful Champagne !
