Champagne Gerin – Blanc de Blancs 2010 – Brut 

The nose is fruity and offers a fine juiciness as well as a fine racy minerality (in the background). It reveals notes of ripe lemon, ripe nectarine and small notes of litchee associated with discreet hints of fresh pear, elderberry flowers as well as an imperceptible hint of brioche. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a fine minerality, a very finely tight structure as well as a small roundness. The effervescence is very fine, dynamic and bright. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of juicy lemon, peach/juicy nectarine and small notes of pear associated with fine touches of juicy/fresh Mirabelle plum, elderberry flowers as well as discreet hints of orange flowers and brioche/toasted. Good length.
