Champagne Dom Caudron – Sublimité 50/50 – 2008 – Chardonnay

Champagne Dom Caudron – Sublimité 50/50 – 2008 – Chardonnay

(50% Pinot Meunier, 50% Chardonnay) The nose is fruity, creamy and quite gourmand. It reveals notes of pear and brugnon associated with a touch of lemon, ripe white fruit as well as a discreet hint of brioche and a slight hint of almond. The palate is fruity, gourmand, suave and offers fat, generosity and a fine minerality in the background. The effervescence is well made. In the mouth this Champagne expresses notes of pear and brugnon associated with touches of citrus (lemon, mandarin), a hint of pineapple as well as a discreet hint of butter brioche and a discreet touch of fresh almond. Good length. A beautiful Champagne.
