Champagne Claude Cazals – Millésime 2009 – Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, quite elegant and offers a slight juiciness. It reveals notes of quince, lemon and slight touches of mirabelle associated with a touch of nectarine, beeswax as well as an imperceptible touch of gingerbread (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good volume, a slight fat as well as a mineral / chalky frame. The effervescence is relatively fine and dynamic. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of lemon, quince and slight notes of juicy mirabelle, tangerine associated with a discreet hint of apricot as well as an imperceptible hint of beeswax. Good length.
