Cave Saint-Désirat – Cœur de Rochevine 2017 – Saint-Joseph

The nose is aromatic, gourmand and offers a fine grain as well as a fine complexity. It reveals notes of ripe wild strawberry, blackberry, violet, small notes of crushed plum associated with touches of small blue fruits, vanilla, caramelization as well as fine hints of sage, black olive ad fine hints of toasted/grilled. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers gourmandize, suavity, pulpiness, minerality, a very fine suavity as well as a beautiful pulpy/juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blueberry, pulpy/juicy wild strawberry, small notes of crushed plum associated with touches of vanilla, violet as well as hints of cornflower, zan and a subtle hint of rosemary (in the background). Good length.
