Canicatti – Cataratto 2018 – Terre Siciliane IGP

The nose is fruity, very finely tight and offers a small power as well as richness. It reveals notes of crunchy/ripe flat peach, peach skin and small notes of green apple associated with fine touches of white flowers (elderflower, lemon flowers…) as well as a hint of fresh grass and very discreet hints of litchee. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, an acidulous frame, minerality, sauvity as well as a crunchy/juicy/acidulous fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy/juicy flat peach, juicy/crunchy green apple and small notes of lemon associated with very discreet almost iodine hint, a fine hint of litchee, flowers (white and pink) associated with an imperceptible hint of juicy clementine.
