The nose is aromatic and complex. It reveals notes of blackberry, flowers, grove / bell pepper and slight touches of cassis associated with subtle touches of ripe red berries (in the background), tarweed as well as subtle / discreet touches of spices and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a slight acidity, an unctuous matter, roundness as well as a good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and slight touches of small wild berries associated with subtle touches of wild raspberry, redcurrant, toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of violet flowers, pepper and vanilla. Tannins are a bit firm and very discreetly dry. There are a subtle touch of dark chocolate / cocoa and a very discreet hint of caramelization on the persistence.
