Cà Dei Maghi – Annata 2015 – Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico

Cà Dei Maghi – Annata 2015 – Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico

The nose is elegant, concentrated, fruity and offers power but in elegance. It reveals notes of dry cassis, violet plum, small notes of fig associated with touches of strawberry as well as fine hints of crushed redcurrant, camphor, liquorice and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, beautifully precise and offers gourmandize, a juicy/beautifully acidulous frame as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy/ripe volet fig, small notes of crushed blackberry associated with touches of cherry jam, black olive, nutmeg as well as very discreet hints of chocolate, orange, sense of the place, an imperceptible hint of lavender and spices. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built. A beautiful persistence on notes of chocolate and vanilla.
