Bridao – Private Collection 2015 – Tejo

The nose is fine, intense, quite elegant and concentrated. It reveals notes of wild berries, blackberry and Cuben pepper associated with subtle touches of crème de cassis, garrigue, racy minerality, flowers and spices. The palate is fruity, gourmand, straight, silky, well-balanced, quite elegant and offers a slight acid frame, a slight minerality as well as a beautiful tension and a beautiful “guideline”. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cassis, blueberry, wild berries associated with touches of small red fruits, licorice, chocolate/mocha as well as a hint of black olive, garrigue and spices. Tannins are well-built. There is a nice gourmand persistence on slight touches of chocolate, caramelization as well as on an imperceptible hint of hazelnut.
