Bouchard Aîné & Fils 2017 – Meursault

Bouchard Aîné & Fils 2017 – Meursault

The nose is elegant, beautifully built, precisely concentrated, racy and offers precision as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of ripe kumquat, ripe mirabelle plum and small notes of fleshy yellow fruits associated with a hint of exotic fruit as well as very discreet hints of white flowers and an imperceptible hint of ripe almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, tension, an acidulous frame, precision, finesse, straightness, a good structure, gourmandise as well as a fine richness (but full of finesse). On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe / juicy lemon, ripe quince / juicy and small notes of juicy / tangy mirabelle plum associated with slight hints of crushed white fruits as well as imperceptible hints of flowers, beeswax and ripe almond. Good length. A very discreet firmness on the finish / persistence.
