The nose is aromatic as well as quite intense and quite fine. It reveals notes of violet / cornflowers, blackberry and slight notes of fresh cassis combined with a discreet touch of ripe red fruits as well as a discreet hint of balsamic, toasted oak and vanilla. The mouth is fruity, fine, fluid, relatively mineral, well-balanced and offers a nice silky matter, a fine juiciness, a fine tension and a freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cherry, raspberry and slight notes of cassis, juicy blackberry combined with a discreet hint of liquorice, tobacco, toasted wood and a touch of chocolate. Tannins are slightly firm. Good length and persistence.
