The nose is fruity, elegant and offers concentration, a fine density/richness as well as a fleshy/juicy/ripe fruit. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe plum and small toasted notes associated with fine touches of blackberry as well as fine hints of violet, camphor and Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, tension, fat as well as crunchiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy/juicy cassis, crunchy/juicy blackberry associated with fine touches of violet/cornflower, spices as well as very discreet hints of gray pepper. Tannins are precise and finely marked. A roasted hint on the finish. An imperceptible flowery hint as well as slight hints of cocoa and grilled on the persistence.
