The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a fine intensity as well as a nice grain. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, plum and fleshy wild strawberry combined with discreet hints of wild raspberry as well as hints of tonka bean / mocha, woody notes and discreet violet hints. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, aerial, racy, very slightly tight and offers good definition, a fine acid frame, a slight juiciness and a nice grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy plum and slight notes of cassis associated with touches of wild strawberry, cherry, small notes of tonka bean, woody notes as well as subtle touches of juicy berries, vanilla and discreet hints of cardamom. Tannins are fine, slightly chewy and straight. Good length.
