Anakota – Helena Montana Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 – Knights Valley

Anakota – Helena Montana Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 – Knights Valley

Beautiful powerful, racy nose which offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, concentration, a certain intensity as well as a nice airy and fresh side in its power. It reveals notes of boysenberry, quite ripe wild red berries and small notes of fresh pepper associated with touches of dry local grove, Bigarreau cherry as well as a hint of crushed plum, at a very discreet hint of blond tobacco and almost Bourbon vanilla hinr. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced, racy, fresh and offers precision, a tangy frame, roundness, concentration, a balanced richness, a nice racy (and balanced) power, a small fat as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and small notes of bright/quite ripe redcurrants associated with a touch of violet, lily, black cherry as well as hints of fresh local soil, dark chocolate/cocoa, fine almost rosemary/aromatic herbs hints, cinnamon and toasted hazelnut/toasted almond. Good length.
