Amirault Vignerons, Clos de la Gaucherie 2021 – Bourgueil

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers subtlety and a fine mineral side. It expresses notes of raspberry, tart red cherry, blueberry, blackcurrant and wild strawberry, combined with touches of blackcurrant leaf, wild mint, a hint of licorice, violet and rose petals. The palate is chiseled and tangy. It expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, blueberry, raspberry, red cherry, crunchy strawberry, as well as violet, rose petals, wild mint, blackcurrant leaf, a touch of liquorice and a fine hint of chalky finish. The tannins are well structured, a little grippy. Beautiful salivating acidity, juiciness and a delicate bitterness on the finish.
