Alpha Omega – Chardonnay Reserve 2013 – Napa Valley (Primeur)

Alpha Omega – Chardonnay Reserve 2013 – Napa Valley (Primeur)

The nose is elegant. It reveals a few notes of zest associated with slight floral notes, slight notes of pineapple (in the background), touches of papaya as well as a few slight notes of vanilla (in the background) and fine woody notes. The palate is fruity, mineral, elegant, fat and offers a nice unctuous matter and a small fresh / fruity frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pear and pineapple combined with slight notes of brioche, discreet touches of banana, slight buttery notes as well as fine notes of oak and coconut. Good length and persistence (especially on coconut notes).
