Alpha Omega – Chardonnay 2015, Toyon Vineyard – Carneros, Napa Valley

The nose is aromatic and offers a slight intensity as well as a slight power. It reveals notes of quince, fresh apple and small touches of oak combined with slight hints of citrus / zests as well as discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible touch of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a good definition, a slight acidulous frame / citrus, a beautiful suavity, a small tension, a racy minerality, unctuosity as well as slight freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, quince, juicy / fresh mirabelle plum and small notes of butter associated with touches of crushed white fruits, quenette / lychee as well as slight hints of vanilla. Good length.
