The nose is fresh and offers concentration as well as gourmandize. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis and fleshy blackberry associated with small notes of fleshy wild red berries, wild raspberry, wild strawberry as well as fine touches of racy minerality, spices, discreet touches of toasted oak, almond, a very discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of tea (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balance, fleshy, precise, fine and offers a good definition and offers a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and more slightly red berries, wild strawberry associated with fine/discreet touches of bulb/lily, fine touches of racy minerality, spices, a discreet hint of almond and a very discreet hint of pepper. Tannins are fine, well-built and structuring. Good acidulous and gourmand persistence.
