vert-de-vin-vinexpo-asia-pacific-2014-2From 27 to 29 May 2014 Wine & spirits professionals are gathering at Vinexpo Asia-Pacific. This event will take place in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. With more than 1300 exhibitors from all sectors and from more than thirty countries that produce wine and spirits, Vinexpo Asia-Pacific became the first international wines & spirits fair in Asia. This year attendance records should even be beaten.

While the expo is obviously a way of gaining direct access to China, it also raises profiles in the emerging markets of South-East Asia. Bear in mind that 40% of wine consumed in Asia is outside China. The region also accounts for 61.5% of the world’s spirits consumption.(*) All the indicators point to yet another resounding success for Vinexpo Asia-Pacific” Guillaume Deglise, CEO of Vinexpo Asia-Pacific.

Besides wishing to best meet Asian Wine & Spirits professionnals a new edition of Vinexpo will be held this year in Tokyo (Japan). Remains to be seen whether this edition will compete Vinexpo Hong Kong or complementarity. To learn more about Vinexpo Nippon
