Skalli Family Sells St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery (Napa Valley) to Chanel

Chanel, a world famous French luxury group, already owns two vineyards in the Bordeaux region (Château Canon – 1er Grand Cru Classé, Saint-Emilion, Chateau Rauzan-Ségla – 2nd Grand Cru Classé, Margaux) just bought St Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery, Napa Valley. The transaction amount was not disclosed. The sale will be completed later this month.

Robert Skalli first purchased over 1530 acres in the Napa Valley in 1982. In 1985 he purchased an additional 52 acres in Rutherford, the heart of Napa Valley where he designed and built the estate winery. The St. Supéry Estate is divided into two vineyards (Dollarhide Estate Vineyard Rutherford Estate Vineyard) and produces about 150,000 cases per year.
