Launch of the new Vertdevin Website

Changes to Access to Our Tasting Notes

Dear Winemakers,

For many years, we have had the privilege of tasting your wines and highlighting, with passion, attention to detail, and rigor, the diversity and richness of your terroirs and the beauty that the world of wine has to offer. In 10 years, Vertdevin has evolved considerably, going from a personal media to a team of 12 journalists spread across Europe. We would first like to reassure you: the tastings will continue to be free of charge and with due diligence, and the scores (/20 and /100) awarded will remain freely available, as they always have been.

This change only concerns the detailed tasting notes (the tasting description). From now on, these will no longer be shared free of charge. They will be available/viewable and usable only with a subscription (€99/year, regardless of the number of wines, whether 2 or 30). This includes the standard subscription, access to the website, access to comments/descriptions, and their usage rights. For website readers/visitors, a subscription that includes, among other things, access to comments will now only be available with a Premium subscription (€49.90/year). This new option allows us to showcase our teams’ analytical and editorial work, while guaranteeing you content that is always independent, accurate, and professional. Comments made before September 1, 2025, will remain free to use. These changes only affect future ones.

Let’s be clear: our goal is not to create a barrier, but to continue supporting you in promoting your wines. The scores will continue to be accessible to everyone, offering immediate visibility. Comments will benefit from a more structured distribution and a framework that will allow us to maintain our high standards and ensure the sustainability of this service. Indeed, like all companies in the sector, we must review our operating methods to ensure the future of our media while maintaining the reliability and professionalism already in place.

By visiting/clicking on this link, you will be able to discover our new, completely redesigned website, as well as the new content and the various subscription plans offered (available terms and options). A new “professional” section of the site also now offers new marketing tools to assist you in promoting and selling your products. Regarding our distribution, our magazine remains available at major international trade shows (WineParis/Vinexpo Europe & Asia, Prowein Europe, Asia, South America, Vinitaly, etc.), on the largest digital newsstand platforms (Zinio, Readly, PressReader, etc.), and on 41 airlines (AirFrance, Lufthansa, SAS, China Airlines, etc.). Wine-Searcher continues to support the reprint of scores.

We know how much your efforts deserve to be understood and accurately reported. It is precisely to continue to do so, with the same high standards and passion, that this essential development is taking place.

With all our consideration and commitment at your side.
