On 26 and 27 January 2026, Turin’s OGR will host a new edition of Grandi Langhe e il Piemonte del vino, an event that has become a central reference point for a contemporary reading of the Piedmontese vineyard. Originally conceived by the Consorzi di tutela of Barolo, Barbaresco, Alba, Langhe and Dogliani, alongside the Consorzio del Roero, the event now benefits from the support of the Consorzio Piemonte Land of Wine, the body bringing together the region’s leading appellations.

In Turin, Grandi Langhe 2026 celebrates the viticultural mosaic of Piedmont. From the Langhe to Alto Piemonte, two days to explore the diversity and momentum of the region’s appellationsDesigned as a benchmark professional event, Grandi Langhe is increasingly establishing itself as Piedmont’s equivalent of an en primeur presentation, offering trade professionals, journalists and international buyers a comprehensive overview of new releases, led by the latest vintages of Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero. The 2026 edition will reinforce this ambition with the announced participation of 510 wineries, including 375 from the Langhe and Roero and 135 representing other winegrowing areas of Piedmont.
Beyond the region’s historic flagship appellations, the event will highlight the growing diversity of the Piedmontese vineyard. Visitors will be able to discover wines from Alto Piemonte, Monferrato and the Asti area, as well as from zones gaining increasing qualitative recognition such as the Tortonese, Ovadese, Chierese and Canavese. Producers specialising in sparkling wines, whether made according to the traditional method or the charmat method, will further enrich this panorama, offering an accurate reflection of a plural and dynamic wine region. The choice of the OGR in Turin, a former industrial complex transformed into a cultural and event hub, strengthens the strategic positioning of the event. Its generous spaces and high-level technical facilities allow tastings to be conducted under optimal conditions, while embodying a dialogue between heritage, innovation and transmission. This setting resonates with the identity of a vineyard whose landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato have been listed as a Unesco World Heritage site since 2014.
