Great expectations for the upcoming Vineexpo Asia

28-30 May 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC)

The 2024 edition is getting closer and closer! Vinexpo Asia, the mainland’s most important international wine and spirits fair, will be held from 28 to 30 May 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center (HKCEC).
Great expectations, a staggering number of participants from all over the world. With ten thousand operators attending and 40 exhibiting countries for 1,300 producers: Australia and China among the top 5, Chile, Argentina, South Africa, New Zealand and the United States for the New World, France, Italy, Spain (top 3 exhibiting countries), Portugal, Germany and Switzerland, to name a few, for Europe.

A valuable opportunity to network and discover market trends

Functional and accessible, industry professionals and manufacturers will be able to network with each other through this unique platform that excels in its organisational capacity. There will be plenty of food for thought that captures the general consumption trend. From the WOW (Welcome to the Organic World) area dedicated to organic and biodynamic wines – which are becoming increasingly popular in Asia – to the large showcase dedicated to spirits (from whisky to mezcal, rum, sake and baijiu) and soft drinks.

Deeply honoured to be returning to Hong Kong, Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of the Vinexposium group, states: “Building on Vinexpo Asia’s proven success in Singapore in 2023, Vinexposium continues to play a central part in the economic growth and vitality of the wine and spirits industry in Asia, consistently raising industry standards and promoting an environment conducive to trade and investments”.

CEO of the Vinexposium Group, says: ‘Building on the proven success of Vinexpo Asia in Singapore in 2023, Vinexposium continues to play a pivotal role in the economic growth and vitality of the wine and spirits industry in Asia by consistently raising industry standards and fostering a trade and investment-friendly environment.

Vinexposium’s efforts go back a long way, with the first event organised in Hong Kong 26 years ago

‘Since the inaugural edition in 1998 in Hong Kong, Vinexpo Asia has grown to become the flagship event for the wine and spirits industry in the region. We are delighted to see the return of the event, which takes advantage of the city’s diverse and inclusive culture, business and trade-friendly environment, and the tremendous opportunities offered by the Greater Bay Area and Asia’s fast-growing markets to further enhance the event and offer more business opportunities for both exhibitors and buyers in Asia,’ said Kenneth Wong, General Manager of the MICE and Cruise Division of the Hong Kong Tourism Authority.
