The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is fragrant, slightly roasted. It expresses notes of roasted morello cherry, wild strawberry, roasted raspberry, red cherry and blackcurrant, combined with a savoury spiciness (nutmeg, liquorice, cubeb pepper, crushed coriander seeds).
