The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant and offers a good freshness, definition, an acidulous frame as well as a fine suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy cassis, juicy raspberry and small notes of fresh blackberry associated with fine touches of ripe/juicy redcurrant, toasted, cocoa as well as very fine hints of vanilla, nutmeg and a subtle hint of cloves. Tannins are elegant and very finely tight. Good length.
