The nose is fruity and offers a fine juiciness and a fine minerality. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, black cherry, and small notes of ripe/juicy red berries associated with discreet touches of sweet spices as well as a subtle hint of gray pepper, black olive and chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, beautifuly juicy, delicate and offers a beautiful suavity, fat, a beautiful precision, a beautiful fresh frame, a fine acidity, a good guideline / dynamism as well as a nice grain finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black fleshy / juicy, crushed cassis and small notes of wild strawberry, juicy / ripe red berries associated with small / discreet touches of black olive, violet, sweet spices, nutmeg, caramelized oak, chocolate as well as an imperceptible touch of rosemary (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and (very) slightly chewy. Good length.
