On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum and slight notes of fresh cassis associated with slight touches of strawberry (in the background), a discreet touch of liquorice as well as a hint of jam, tobacco, a woody touch and spices (discreet). Good length. The finish is suave and aromatic. A beautiful and fruity wine made in the classic “Cheval Blanc” style.
