The nose is fruity, well-built, racy and offers concentration and power. It reveals notes of griotte, dry cherry, small notes of dry blueberry associated with small touches of fleshy/pulpy cassis, hints of redcurrant jam as well as hints of cocoa, grey pepper; grilled and grilled almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very finely tight, racy and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, juiciness, tension, a small deepness as well as concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte, dry blueberry, small notes of candied cassis associated with small touches of crushed/juicy raspberry, juicy Boysen berry as well as fine hints of cocoa, eucalyptus, toasted and nutmeg. Good length. Tannins are well-built and fine.
