The nose is fine and a bit discreet. It reveals notes of blackberry jam, wild fruits and small berries associated with slight notes of oak as well as discreet notes of spices and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, well-balanced and offers fat as well as a slight mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, cassis and slight notes of blueberry, mocha/dark chocolate associated with slight notes of toasted oak, a very discreet hint of cherry jelly as well as a discreet hint of black pepper. Tannins are a bit dry. Good length and persistence.
