The nose is elegant, racy, focused and offers a certain finesse in its generosity and fruitiness. There are notes of pulpy blackberry, violet small notes of ripe/crushed red berries, with fine hints of blueberry, sweet spices as well as a subtle almost fig-like hint and a very discreet vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced, precise and offers minerality, elegance, gourmandize, a nice finesse in its definition/pulpiness, tension and a certain richness in its fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy, juicy cherry, pulpy, juicy violet plum and more slightly ripe Gariguette strawberry, with hints of fig as well as fine hints of sweet spices, a very discreet hint of liquorice, blueberry, cardamon/chocolate and toasted almond. Tannins are sapid, mellow and elegant. Lovely finish/persistence.
