Zeni – VigneAlte 2019 – Bardolino Classico

The nose is racy and offers a small power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, violet and small notes of fleshy purple plum associated with small touches of fleshy wild berries, strawberry, fine hints of tonka bean, sweet spices, local grove, cardamom as well as a very discreet hint of toasted almond and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a small freshness, minerality as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cassis, pulpy / juicy Boysenberry and small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of bright blueberry, local grove, blond tobacco as well as a discreet hint of spices and nutmeg. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
