The wine shows a pale straw-lemon colour, clear and shiny. The nose reveals a lot of smokiness, flintiness, salinity, with yellow orchard fruits in the echo. The palate is dense but offers a certain elegance and finesse, moderate but refreshing acidity, a lot of tension and minerality. Notes of ripe yellow apple, pear and quince interlace hints of savoury herbs, wet stones and umami. The finish demonstrates a lot of energy, salinity, spiciness and a nice acidic backbone.
