The nose is fruity, powerful and concentrated. It reveals notes of cassis associated with slight notes of truffle, underbrush as well as a hint of dark chocolate powder and blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, a bit gourmand and offers juiciness, suavity, a nice volume and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crunchy Gariguette strawberry and fine notes of cherry associated with touches of blackberry jam as well as a hint of bell pepper, sweet spices and fine touches of Ceylon tea. Tannins are fine and supple. Good length.
