Vignerons de Mancey, Mâcon-Villages 2022

The wine has a pale lemon-yellow color. The nose is aromatic, concentrated and fruity. It expresses notes of juicy stone fruits (yellow peach, apricot, yellow plum, a slight touch of mirabelle plum), pineapple in syrup, a fresh touch of lemon, lemon zest, pink grapefruit, acacia, honey, as well as a perceptible herbaceous (cut grass) and mineral (chalky and saline) hint. On the palate, the wine offers a certain roundness and a creamy texture, but it is tangy and lively. It expresses the flavors of juicy yellow peach, apricot, lemon, lemon zest, a touch of yellow melon, and fresh pineapple, as well as a hint of salinity and minerality (chalk) in the background. The finish is unctuous, supple, fruity, with good acidity.
