The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cherry, wild red berries and slight touches of plum / cassis combined with hints of cassis bud, as well as subtle toasted touches, spices and a hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well balanced, silky, fat, gourmande and offers a slight acid frame, juiciness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of redcurrant, fresh cherry and slight notes of plum skin combined with a touch of crushed blueberry, Zan, tea as well as a subtle touch of minerality almost saline. Good length.
