The nose is fruity and offers concentration, power. It reveals notes of small black berries, small blue fruits (blueberry), small notes of cornflower associated with a touch of raspberry/crushed redcurrant as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, thyme and pepper. The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers tension, minerality, a small freshness as well as concentration and a good acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh small black berries, juicy violet plum, small notes of small juicy/fresh black berries, juicy violet plum, small notes of fresh cornflower associated with touches of cocoa, local copse as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, a racy minerality and a discreet saline hint. Tannins are slightly marked/firm.
