The nose is fruity, slightly gourmand and offers a very fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with small touches of fleshy black fruits, licorice / Sichuan pepper as well as a very discreet hint of cinnamon / chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, suavity, freshness as well as a very fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and crunchy / acidulous redcurrant associated with small touches of wild strawberry, small berries as well as fine touches of licorice, spices, chocolate, cardamom and a very discreet hint of cinnamon. Tannins are well-built. Very discreet chews on the finish.
