The nose is elegant and relatively aromatic. It reveals notes of undergrowth and slight notes of wood, cassis, blackberry, crushed blueberry combined with a touch of leather, hints of raspberry, liquorice, a few slight hints of toasted oak as well as discreet notes of spices and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, relatively gourmand, well-balanced, well defined and offers an acid frame, fat, minerality as well as juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of wild strawberry and small red berries combined with slight notes of crushed raspberry, blueberry as well as a hint of blackberry, discreet notes of toasted oak, liquorice and discreet hints of tobacco. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length.
