Vieux Château des Rochers – Cuvée Prestige 2020 – Montagne Saint-Emilion :

The nose is fruity and offers concentration, a certain delicacy in its concentration as well as an airiness. There are notes of black currant liqueur, crushed blackberry and, to a lesser extent, strawberry, combined with hints of crushed blue berries, camphor, sandalwood and a subtle touch of pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers a tangy structure, minerality, accuracy, good definition, freshness, delicacy, elegance and tension. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, crunchy blackcurrant and more slightly violet notes combined with hints of pulpy currant, cherry and a touch of vanilla, nutmeg and tonka bean. Soft tannins. Good length.
