The nose is racy, revealing a fine intensity and a lovely finesse of grain. There are notes of bright dark berries, pulpy cherry and, more slightly, rose, olive, combined with hints of local garrigue, as well as hints of laurel, blond tobacco leaf and fine spices (in the background). The palate reveals freshness, minerality, density, blackness, a good work on the bitter taste, a fresh spine, as well as a good tannic frame relatively powerful, racy and finely tightened. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry and bright black berries and more lightly pulpy cherry, purple plum combined with hints of mocha, cocoa, black olive as well as fine points of sage, cinnamon and toast. Freshness, juiciness and an enveloping quality. Powerful, racy and polished tannins. Sapidity on the finish.
