Veyder-Malberg – Elsarner Brandstatt 2015 – Riesling – Wachau

The nose is fine, fruity and offers a fine richness and fine unctuosity. It reveals notes of beeswax, small yellow fruits and touches of flowers associated with slight hints of candied quince / lemon. The palate is fruity, fresh, very slightly “perlante” (discreetly sparkling), well-balanced, aerial and offers a good acidity, a good minerality, a slight fat, tension, a fine richness, a fine juiciness as well as a good finesse / delicacy. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of quince and slight notes of lemon, beeswax combined with discreet touches of wood as well as an imperceptible hint of green almond and a slight hint of dried fruit. Good length and persistence.
