The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a fine richness/concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of fleshy/ripe strawberry associated with small touches of small wild fruits as well as a discreet hint of violet and an impercpetible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, juicy, gourmande and offers a fine acidulous frame, a fine richness, precision as well as a very fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, ripe/juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy/ripe wild raspberry associated with fine touches of small red berries, hints of cocoa, lily as well as an imperceptible hint of tea and tonka bean. Tannins are well-built. There is an imperceptible varietal hint and bitterness of the cocoa (pleasant !) on the finish.
